Adela Rushing, M.A., LPC
Adela counsels individuals, couples, and groups using a variety of counseling techniques. While she specializes in helping couples, veterans, and survivors of trauma and abuse, she also treats clients facing a wide range of challenges such as addiction, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, personal conflict, personality disorders, PTSD, and coping and life skills.

Adela is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Tennessee Tech University. Adela is also an Army veteran, deployed to Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, woodworking, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Anna L. Curry graduated from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Anna was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas but made her home in Houston in the early nineties, where she acquired her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston-Downtown. Anna's therapeutic approach is existential, yet because therapy is tailored to the individual, she is eclectic with the techniques that she offers and uses an integrated approach to psychotherapy. She draws from various modalities (CBT, REBT, DBT, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, The Flash Technique, Exposure Therapy,
The Five Star Method of Dream Analysis – Individual or Group Therapy, and other holistic approaches to facilitate your journey and to effectively address personal life challenges and achieve significant goals.
Taking the initial step toward wellness can be challenging and overwhelming. Anna is an enthusiastic believer that everyone deserves to have peace and harmony with themselves to live a profound meaningful life. She values and stresses empathy, trust, and a genuine therapeutic relationship in therapy.
Anna has experience working with a wide range of populations in many settings. Her expertise is working with children 6+, students, preteens, teens, and adults who struggle with life’s challenging experiences. Her specialties and expertise include support for life changes, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, grief, coping skills empowerment, spirituality, OCD, and ADHD. Anna dedicates herself to providing you with the skills and tools necessary to navigate and find the solutions within yourself. Anna is available face-to-face (in person counseling) or via Telehealth sessions for your convenience.

Beverly Benjamin, LPC-A
Beverly Benjamin, LPC-A is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Affairs from Montclair State University. She received a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University and a Master’s degree in Counseling from LaSalle University.

Beverly has experience working with individuals, families, students. completed internships at Eagleville Hospital, Eagleville, PA, where she collaborated with clients who experienced drug and alcohol addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and interpersonal issues. Beverly also has seventeen years of experience working for the New Jersey Department of Children and families, where she advocated for children, and adults who have faced trauma, sexual abuse, and substance related issues. She currently works with college students through Communities in Schools, a non-profit organization.
Beverly utilizes psychoeducation as an approach to teach problem-solving and communication skills to support prevention of future challenges. She uses many techniques to help people reach their goals, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and other holistic approaches. She believes psychoeducation helps to improve clients insight and helps them develop coping strategies. Beverly enjoys collaborating with people and is compassionate about helping others reach their fullest potential.
